Coffee Time Talk – the Museum’s collection and archive

Journey into the history of policing in Devon & Cornwall with the experts from the Museum and the archive.

Bookings are now being taken for the next Southwest Heritage Trust Coffee Time Talk.

The Museum has been running a project at the Devon Heritage Centre to catalogue the records of the forces that have upheld law and order in the two counties since the 19th century. Learn about some of the findings and stories that have emerged from recent research projects. The talk includes an introduction to the records and history held by the Museum of Policing in Devon & Cornwall, and gives an insight into the Museum’s ongoing cataloguing project, preserved at the Devon Heritage Centre, Exeter. We hope you will join us.

Curator Alison Holmes and Archivist, Andrew Veal-Cox will each spend around 30 minutes shining a spotlight on the two sides of collection.
The event is on Friday 21st November, 10.30am-11.30am. Tickets for the talk are £5, available to book here.
