Support us

There are lots of different ways that you can support us. We’re a a registered charity that relies on the support of the general public to continue its work in collecting, preserving and making accessible its rich collections.

Supporting the Museum through donations, patronage, volunteering, or by becoming members of the Friends of the Museum, significantly helps us to continue offering new exhibitions, grow and conserve the collections, and ensures we can continue engaging the very best in archive and curatorial expertise to study the collections and develop event programmes and public engagement opportunities.

Volunteering

Volunteers are the backbone of the Museum, without whom we would not be able to progress our key objective of unlocking our collections to an intergenerational audience. Volunteers provide invaluable support in areas of cataloguing, preservation, administration support, social media engagement, community fundraising, curatorial assistance, and much, much more. It is because of our volunteers that we have such a vibrant network of support committed to ensuring the long-term safeguarding of our collections.

Corporate Partnerships

With one of the most complete collections of police heritage material anywhere in the UK, the Museum offers corporations a fantastic opportunity to partner with a unique and treasured historical institution in the South West. By sponsoring or partnering with the Museum of Policing in Devon and Cornwall, brands are able to engage and explore the rich policing and social heritage of the landscape they are part of, increase their audience across our communications streams, and partner with us on special exhibitions.

If you are a business interested in partnering with us, please get in contact.
