Mini-Museum opening times 2025
Opening times for the mini-Museum in Tavistock, are each year from Easter until the end of October:
The mini-Museum of Policing in Devon and Cornwall, Tavistock Court Gate building, Bedford Square, Tavistock PL19 0AE – doors open on Friday 11.00 – 15.00 Easter to end of October each year.
Entry to the mini museum is free.
Additional opening times and dates are announced throughout the year, e.g. alongside other events in the town. Check the Museum website and socials for updates.

National Trust Heritage Open Days – Friday 12th – Sunday 21st September 2025
UK National Trust’s flagship annual programme opening heritage attractions to the public for free!
Tavistock mini-Museum will be open from 11.00 – 15.00 Friday/Saturday/Sunday 12/13/14 September and ditto 19/20/21 September.
We hope you will drop in and see what’s on.
Tours of the Police Museum’s Historical Objects Collection in Okehampton may be booked here. Okehampton is normally closed to the public as it is a working police station.
Tours of the Police Museum’s Archive at the Devon Heritage Centre in Exeter may be booked here.
