Before joining the Museum as a volunteer, Sue worked in banking, insurance, and for a large DIY company. From a military family, Sue was married to husband, Derek (another Museum volunteer), for 56 years and has two children. Sue moved to Devon 11 years ago, though she has known Okehampton where the collections are stored for over 40 years. Sue enjoys the variety of work that the collections offer, and is proud to contribute to the conservation and protection of policing heritage.
