Ensuring that the Museum continues to grow and preserve its collections whilst making them accessible to a wide audience greatly relies on the generosity and support of the public. The museum is registered with Amazon smile, which means that 0.5% of eligible purchases will be donated to us by Amazon (at no extra cost to you.) You can search us using our registered name (South West Police Heritage Trust) or charity number (1168731). Please note that we are still in the process of changing our name with the Charity Commission to the Museum of Policing in Devon and Cornwall, hence the use of our old name.

Volunteering
Volunteers are the backbone of the Museum, without whom we would not be able to progress our key objective of unlocking our collections to an intergenerational audience. Volunteers provide invaluable support in areas of cataloguing, preservation, administration support, social media engagement, community fundraising, curatorial assistance, and much, much more. It is because of our volunteers that we have such a vibrant network of support committed to ensuring the long-term safeguarding of our collections.
